Dr. Devan R. Vest is a highly qualified orthodontist who is committed to treating patients with the utmost respect and providing the best care possible for his patients. He is passionate about orthodontics and has an unwavering commitment to excellence in all he does. Dr. Vest especially enjoys being part of an experienced orthodontics team that promotes self-worth among patients through a combination of superb patient care and outstanding service.
Dr. Vest was raised in Oak Hill, West Virginia. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii, where he studied biology, mathematics and business management. Dr. Vest then spent 2 years as a missionary for the LDS church in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he dedicated time to community service and teaching the wonderful people of Argentina. While in Argentina he learned to fluently speak Spanish, which he still uses on a daily basis.
Dr. Vest gained early acceptance to Dental School at West Virginia University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Vest received his Orthodontic Specialty training at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. In addition to working in the clinic full time, Dr. Vest also performed research in fulfillment of a Master of Science degree, which supplements his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate. Although his formal education is complete, Dr. Vest is always working to stay current with evolving orthodontic methods and technologies.
Dr. Vest and his lovely wife, Angela have three young children, Kyra, Ian & Sadie. Angela received a Master's degree in Social Work, worked for a short time helping young children and now enjoys staying home with Krya, Ian & Sadie. Dr. Vest and his wife were attracted to Northern New Mexico after enjoying the scenery, the weather and the wonderful people in the area. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Vest enjoys exercising, sports (participant and spectator), traveling and spending time with his family.
