Meet Dr. Knowlton

Dr. Clark Knowlton is an outdoor adventure enthusiast, an amateur foodie, and a loving husband and father to his wife Lizzie and his three children. He was born and raised in San Diego and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University (BYU). He then returned to Southern California to attend dental school at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with honors. Lizzie and Clark became Disneyland enthusiasts after three years of season passes, and enjoyed all the diverse culture, food, and outdoor experiences that LA had to offer.

Dr. Knowlton received his orthodontic training at the prestigious Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. During his three year hospital based residency program, he treated a wide range of malocclusions, including cleft lip and palate, orthognathic surgery, and a variety of adolescent and adult patient with fixed and advanced clear aligner therapy. Along with the service he provided to the patients in the Bronx, Dr. Knowlton’s family served their local community by establishing a preschool for 2 and 3 year-olds, working with needy families, and volunteering in their local church congregation.

Dr. Knowlton is passionate about helping patients restore their confidence and self-esteem through giving them a new, beautiful, and healthy smile. Getting to know the patients and their families is one of his favorite aspects of the profession. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and all of their constituent societies. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Knowlton to the practice and to our community.
